The Morey family moved to San Antonio at the end of July to begin a new adventure in our lives. Here's what's going on with us, plus a few prayer requests:
- August 6, we began working as chaplains with a ministry called Marketplace Chaplains USA (www.mchapusa.com).
- Marketplace chaplains visit various businesses around town who have contracted us as their chaplains. We greet the employees, ask how they're doing, listen to their answers and pray for them, sometimes right there, but always afterwards.
- We are also "on call" 24/7 for hospital visits, funerals, home visits and phone or email chats if any of the employees or their families need us.
- Please pray for us as we minister to these employees and their families and for God to provide for our finances as this is only part-time for both of us.
- August 26, Jose will start classes at Baptist University of the Americas
- He will study Christian Business Leadership in preparation to return to the mission field and open student residences for university students
- When he finishes, we will seek God's leading for where to go next
- Pray that he will excel in his classes and that his studies will prepare him for future ministry.
- Kyle will begin preschool/daycare for the first time in the next couple of weeks
- Pray for him as he adapts to his new environment and the separation from Mommy and Daddy
